# Account Settings

> Update your profile, set low-credit alerts, change your password, and review your login history.

Account settings cover your own profile and security — as distinct from
[user management](/guides/platform/user-management), which is about other people's accounts.

Open them by clicking the user icon with your name in the right pane. Five options appear:

| Option | Description |
| - | - |
| My Account | Your profile details |
| Alerts | Credit alerts |
| Change Password | Reset your current password |
| Login History | Your recent sign-ins |
| Log Out | Sign out of the account |

## Alerts

Click **Alerts**, then select **Low Credit Alert** to receive an email when your account's
credits are running low.

<Note>
  Worth switching on. A campaign that stops mid-send because credits ran out is far more
  disruptive than a top-up scheduled a day early — see [Credits](/guides/platform/credits).
</Note>

## Change Password

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Change Password">
    Click **Change Password**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter your passwords">

  </Step>
</Steps>

Passwords must be at least 8 characters and include an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a
number, and a special character.

## Login History

Click **Login History**, then **Show Login History**. The platform displays the IP addresses and
times of sign-ins to your account.

<Note>
  Check this if you suspect your credentials have been shared or compromised — an unfamiliar IP is
  the clearest early signal, and the fix is to change your password immediately.
