# RCS Campaigns Overview

> What the Campaign module does for RCS, who this guide is for, and how to get help.

OneXtel's WhatsApp-RCS Campaign module helps businesses engage with customers
through rich and interactive messaging. Campaigns send personalised messages,
images, videos, and quick reply buttons, enhancing the customer experience
beyond traditional SMS.

RCS (Rich Communication Services) offers advanced messaging features such as
branding, carousels, and suggested actions directly within the native messaging
app, ideal for Android users. WhatsApp campaigns enable businesses to reach
users globally using a familiar and trusted platform.

Both campaign types support automation, segmentation, and analytics, enabling
marketers to schedule messages, target specific audiences, and track
performance metrics such as delivery rates and user interactions.

## Campaign channels

The Campaign feature creates, manages, and sends bulk or targeted messages
across multiple channels, including WhatsApp and RCS. It helps businesses
promote offers, share updates, and deliver notifications efficiently.

* **WhatsApp Campaigns**: Send approved message templates, images, and
  documents through the verified WhatsApp Business API. (Refer to the WhatsApp
  Campaign User Manual.)
* **RCS Campaigns**: Offer an enhanced messaging experience with rich media,
  interactive buttons, and branded layouts delivered directly to users' native
  messaging apps.

Each campaign includes customization, scheduling, and analytics to track
delivery, read rates, and overall engagement.
