# Reports

> Generate delivery, campaign, sender ID, template, and click reports for SMS, and build custom exports.

The **Reports** menu generates detailed reports based on parameters such as date range, Sender
ID, template, and campaign. These support SMS performance analysis, delivery tracking, and
issue diagnosis.

Each report is a tab under **Reports**, and every one of them can be exported.

| Report | Purpose |
| - | - |
| MIS Report | SMS delivery counts by hour and day |
| Summary | Counts and delivery status with percentage breakdowns for a date range |
| Search | Filter report data by multiple criteria to retrieve message-level detail |
| Sender ID Summary | Activity for specific Sender IDs, by Sender ID or TUC name |
| Template Wise Report | Performance and usage grouped by SMS template |
| Campaign Summary | Campaign performance — delivered, submitted, failed, and awaited — by SMS type |
| Clicker Data | Click activity on campaign URLs, with IP, browser, operator, circle, and coordinates |
| Clicker Details | Click activity resolved to individual recipients |
| Scheduled Campaigns | Campaigns queued for future delivery |
| Custom Download Report | A bespoke export with your own filters and column selection |
| Download Data | Previously generated exports, with status and download links |

<Tip>
  For delivery performance broken down by operator rather than by campaign, see
  [Telco Reports](/guides/platform/telco-reports).
</Tip>

## MIS Report

MIS reports provide detailed records to track, analyze, and manage SMS delivery and performance:

* **SMS Delivery Overview** — a grid divided by days and hours, showing the number of SMS messages delivered during each hour.
* **Daily and Hourly Breakdown** — dates in rows and hours in columns, to show SMS volume patterns.
* **Total SMS Sent per Day** — the total number of SMS messages sent each day, in the final column.
* **Performance Analysis and Issue Identification** — supports campaign performance analysis and identification of delivery issues, including undelivered SMS and Sender ID–related problems.

</Frame>

<Note>
  Filtering by Template ID is the fastest way to check whether a specific DLT-registered template
  is actually being used — an approved template with no traffic usually means a campaign is
  referencing the wrong ID.
</Note>

## Clicker Data

Detailed insight into how recipients interact with URLs in SMS campaigns — user IP address,
browser, operator, circle, and geographic coordinates — for analysing click activity and
engagement.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Clicker Data">
    In the left pane, click **Reports**, then the **Clicker Data** tab.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set the filters">
    Enter the required **TUC**, select the **From Date** and **To Date**, enter a **Mobile

## Clicker Details

tracking.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Clicker Details">
    In the left pane, click **Reports**, then the **Clicker Details** tab.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set the filters">
    Enter the required **TUC**, select the **From Date** and **To Date**, then select the

  </Step>
</Steps>

<Frame caption="Clicker Details tab">
  <img src="https://mintcdn.com/onextel-09023014/O8-FyZgAt7yMa4Bh/images/sms/sms-report-clicker-details.png?fit=max&auto=format&n=O8-FyZgAt7yMa4Bh&q=85&s=bbceabc481f63820dd6e97318ac6fe1f" alt="Clicker Details tab with TUC, date range, campaign name and limit filters" width="1245" height="530" data-path="images/sms/sms-report-clicker-details.png" />
</Frame>

<Note>
  Clicker Data and Clicker Details cover the same clicks from different angles: **Clicker Data**
  aggregates click activity across a campaign, while **Clicker Details** resolves it to individual
  recipients. Use the first to judge whether a campaign worked, the second to see who responded.

  Both depend on URL shortening being enabled — without it there is no click to track. See
  [Short URLs](/guides/sms/dlt#short-urls).
</Note>

## Scheduled Campaigns

Campaigns queued for future delivery, so you can track and manage what is due to go out.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Scheduled Campaigns">
    In the left pane, click **Reports**, then the **Scheduled Campaigns** tab.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set the filters">
    Enter the required **TUC**, select the **From Date** and **To Date**, then select the
    **Campaign Name** and **Limit**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Search and export">

</Frame>

<Note>
  This is the reporting view of what is scheduled. To cancel a scheduled send rather than just
  review it, use [All Schedule](/guides/platform/all-schedule).
</Note>

## Custom Download Report

Build your own export by applying advanced filters and choosing exactly which columns appear.
Use it when none of the fixed reports gives you the shape you need.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Custom Download Report">
    In the left pane, click **Reports**, then the **Custom Download Report** tab.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set the scope">
    Enter the required **TUC**, select the **From date** and **To date**, enter the **UUID**,
    and select the **Separator** format — for example comma.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Narrow the results">
    Add any further filters you need: **Error Code**, **Template ID**, **Campaign ID**, **Mobile
    Number**, and **Sender ID**. Then select the **Source Type** and **Status**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose your columns">
    From **Available Columns**, select the fields you want and move them into **Selected
    Columns** using the arrow buttons. Arrange them with the up and down controls — the order
    here is the column order in the export.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Download">
    Click **Download** to export the customised report.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Frame caption="Custom Download Report tab">
  <img src="https://mintcdn.com/onextel-09023014/O8-FyZgAt7yMa4Bh/images/sms/sms-report-custom-download.png?fit=max&auto=format&n=O8-FyZgAt7yMa4Bh&q=85&s=c41a554815f4409483e4e6b19a4dbeca" alt="Custom Download Report tab showing filters and the Available Columns and Selected Columns pickers" width="1245" height="530" data-path="images/sms/sms-report-custom-download.png" />
</Frame>

<Note>
  Filtering by **Error Code** is the quickest way to isolate a delivery problem — export only the
  failures carrying one code and you have the full picture of a single failure mode. See
  [DLR callback](/api-reference/sms/dlr-callback) for what the codes mean.
</Note>

## Download Data

Every report you generate is queued and produced in the background. **Download Data** is where
finished exports appear.

In the left pane, click **Reports**, then the **Download Data** tab. The list shows the request
time, file creation time, report type, file name, the filters that were applied, status, and a
download link.

<Frame caption="Download Data tab">
  <img src="https://mintcdn.com/onextel-09023014/O8-FyZgAt7yMa4Bh/images/sms/sms-report-download-data.png?fit=max&auto=format&n=O8-FyZgAt7yMa4Bh&q=85&s=778f52d0cc38f0d524af8139ac3180a1" alt="Download Data tab listing generated exports with request time, file name, filters, status and download link" width="1245" height="530" data-path="images/sms/sms-report-download-data.png" />
</Frame>

<Note>
  Large exports do not download immediately — they are generated and then appear here. If a
  report seems not to have downloaded, check this tab before running it again.
