# Templates

> Add, view, delete, and bulk-upload SMS templates on the OneXtel platform.

Templates define pre-approved message content for consistent and compliant communication. They store fixed text and placeholders for dynamic values, allowing personalized messages to be generated at scale. Templates reduce manual effort, ensure uniform messaging, and support faster message delivery.

Templates are managed from the **Template** tab under the **Templates** menu. For Sender ID management, see [Sender IDs](/guides/sms/sender-id).

## Add a template

    In the left pane, click **Templates**, then click the **Template** tab.

    Click **+Add Template**.

  <Step title="Enter template details">
    In the pop-up, enter the **Template Name**, select the **Sender ID**, and enter the **Description** and **SMS Content**.

  <Step title="Save">
    Click **Add**. The platform adds the template.

## View templates

    In the left pane, click **Templates**, then click the **Template** tab.

    Click **Search**. The platform displays the templates and their details.

## Delete a template

    In the left pane, click **Templates**, then click the **Template** tab and click **Search** to display the templates and their details.

  <Step title="Delete">
    In the **Action** column, click the **Delete** icon in front of the template you want to delete. Alternatively, click **Delete All**, or select specific templates and click **Delete Selected**.

## Bulk upload templates

Bulk Upload lets you send messages to multiple recipients at once using a file. The platform automatically processes recipient data and message variables, reducing manual work for large-scale messaging.

    In the left pane, click **Templates**, then click the **Bulk Upload** tab.

  <Step title="Choose a file">
    Click **Choose File** and select the file, then click **Open**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save">
    Click **Save Template**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Reset (optional)">
    Click **Reset** to clear the uploaded file.
