# Optimove

> Send SMS from Optimove campaigns through OneXtel using OptiText, with delivery metrics returned to Mission Control.

The Optimove plugin connects OneXtel to Optimove's **OptiText** SMS channel. Campaigns are
built and scheduled in Optimove's Campaign Builder; OneXtel delivers the messages, and delivery
metrics come back into Mission Control alongside the rest of your campaign reporting.

Configuration lives in a small connector portal, separate from both platforms, where you pair
your Optimove credentials with your OneXtel credentials.

## Before you start

Collect your OptiText credentials first — they are hidden permanently once the integration
handshake completes.

In Optimove, go to **Settings → OptiText → SMS Configuration**, then under **OptiText API
Vendor** click **Edit Configuration**. Copy the **Base URL**, **API Key**, and **Secret Key**.

<Warning>
  Once the handshake is complete the API Key and Secret Key are no longer visible in Optimove.
  Copy and store them securely before you begin, or you will need Optimove support to reissue
  them.
</Warning>

You also need a **Provider Key**, which the OneXtel support team shares separately during
onboarding — it is not available from either dashboard.

## Setup

<Steps>
  <Step title="Create a connector account">
    Register at the connector portal URL provided by OneXtel with your name, company name,

  </Step>

  </Step>
</Steps>

## Create a template

In Optimove, go to **Plan → Templates → OptiText SMS** and click **+ Create New**. Enter a
template name and your message content, inserting variables such as `{{1}}` where needed. The
character count and message count are shown as you type, with a mobile preview on the right.

Click **Save**. The template becomes available when you build a campaign in the Execute section.

## Delivery reporting

OneXtel sends delivery reports to the connector webhook, which processes them and updates
Optimove. Overall delivery status appears on the **Mission Control** page, showing total
messages sent, messages delivered, delivery percentage, and other statuses such as dropped or
bounced.

For a single campaign, open **Mission Control**, find the campaign in the list, click the
three-dot menu on the left of its row, and select **Channel Metrics**.

## Requirements

* An Optimove account with the OptiText SMS channel enabled.
* A OneXtel account with SMS enabled and a registered
  [sender ID](/guides/sms/sender-id).
* A Provider Key from OneXtel support.

## Limitations

* **SMS only.** This plugin does not cover WhatsApp or RCS.
* **Credentials are single-view.** OptiText API and secret keys cannot be retrieved from
  Optimove after the handshake.
* **A failed handshake discards the configuration.** Invalid credentials mean nothing is
  saved — re-enter them and create the configuration again.
