The Optimove plugin connects OneXtel to Optimove’s OptiText SMS channel. Campaigns are built and scheduled in Optimove’s Campaign Builder; OneXtel delivers the messages, and delivery metrics come back into Mission Control alongside the rest of your campaign reporting. Configuration lives in a small connector portal, separate from both platforms, where you pair your Optimove credentials with your OneXtel credentials.

Scope

Campaign sends

SMS sent from Optimove Campaign Builder to your target groups.

Multiple configurations

Pair more than one Optimove account with a OneXtel sender.

OptiText templates

Templates authored in Optimove with variable placeholders and live preview.

Mission Control metrics

Sent, delivered, delivery rate, and dropped or bounced counts per campaign.

Before you start

Collect your OptiText credentials first — they are hidden permanently once the integration handshake completes. In Optimove, go to Settings → OptiText → SMS Configuration, then under OptiText API Vendor click Edit Configuration. Copy the Base URL, API Key, and Secret Key.
Once the handshake is complete the API Key and Secret Key are no longer visible in Optimove. Copy and store them securely before you begin, or you will need Optimove support to reissue them.
You also need a Provider Key, which the OneXtel support team shares separately during onboarding — it is not available from either dashboard.

Setup

1

Create a connector account

Register at the connector portal URL provided by OneXtel with your name, company name, email, and a password. Then sign in.
2

Start a new configuration

In the SMS Integration Dashboard, go to Sender Configurations and click New Configuration to open the wizard.
3

Enter your Optimove credentials

Provide the Optimove Base URL, API Token, and Secret Key you collected above. These are verified during the final handshake, so they must be exact. Click Next.
4

Enter your OneXtel credentials

Provide your OneXtel Provider API Key. The Provider Send URL is pre-filled and read-only — it is the OneXtel messaging endpoint and needs no change. Click Next.
5

Set the Sender ID

Enter a valid sender ID, for example ONEX. Letters, numbers, underscores, and hyphens are allowed, up to 50 characters. Click Next.
6

Review and create

Check the Optimove settings, provider settings, and sender ID, then click Create Configuration. The system performs a handshake with Optimove to validate the credentials — the configuration is saved only if it succeeds.

Create a template

In Optimove, go to Plan → Templates → OptiText SMS and click + Create New. Enter a template name and your message content, inserting variables such as {{1}} where needed. The character count and message count are shown as you type, with a mobile preview on the right. Click Save. The template becomes available when you build a campaign in the Execute section.

Send a campaign

1

Open Campaign Builder

In Optimove, go to Execution → Campaign Builder.
2

Choose the audience

Select your target group from the dropdown, then choose Include All.
3

Schedule and configure

Set the scheduling date, select SMS as the channel, choose the template you created, and set the time and timezone.
4

Create the campaign

Click Create Campaign. The campaign is triggered and begins executing.

Delivery reporting

OneXtel sends delivery reports to the connector webhook, which processes them and updates Optimove. Overall delivery status appears on the Mission Control page, showing total messages sent, messages delivered, delivery percentage, and other statuses such as dropped or bounced. For a single campaign, open Mission Control, find the campaign in the list, click the three-dot menu on the left of its row, and select Channel Metrics.

Requirements

  • An Optimove account with the OptiText SMS channel enabled.
  • A OneXtel account with SMS enabled and a registered sender ID.
  • A Provider Key from OneXtel support.

Limitations

  • SMS only. This plugin does not cover WhatsApp or RCS.
  • Credentials are single-view. OptiText API and secret keys cannot be retrieved from Optimove after the handshake.
  • A failed handshake discards the configuration. Invalid credentials mean nothing is saved — re-enter them and create the configuration again.
